3 Long Months

I wanted to share a poem that Justin wrote for his dad (he thought he'd be able to read it at the Memorial Service but he couldn't). It is called "3 Long Months"....

It’s been 3 long months since I’ve seen your smile,
Since I’ve heard your laugh,
Since you went that extra mile.

It’s been 3 long months since I’ve heard your voice,
Since I’ve held your hand,
Since I’ve seen my dad.

But forever I will remember your smile.
Forever I will remember your laugh,
And how many times you went that extra mile.

Forever I will hear your voice,
And remember holding your hand.

Tonight, we light a candle to remember you,
A wonderful dad, brother and son.
It’s been 3 long months since we’ve seen you,
But we know in Heaven, it is you who has won.

Forever missing you,
Your family.

Isn't it such a great poem? My husband has quite the talent for poetry :)
