5 months ago today...

My father-in-law went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. We all still miss him dearly and always will. I know he is in a better place, and that gives me so much peace.

Dear Lord, although we miss Ron so dearly, thank you for taking care of him for us. Give us peace as we remember our husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, friend, Uncle, cousin, brother and friend. Guide our hearts so that we can follow you and meet him again when we join you in that better place. Amen.

It's been a while!

I haven't really blogged in what seems like forever. So much has been going on, but most of you know about that already.

Well, here we are, January 3rd of 2009 at 12:09am. I am sitting on my bed, the laptop is on my legs (which are straight out in front of me, if that makes sense lol), I have some cheese breadsticks and Cream Soda on the nightstand beside me, my headphones are on and I'm listening to some oldies music (and other types, whatever i have on my laptop, which isn't much right now). The kids are all in bed and Justin is downstairs playing on his PSP he got for Christmas. I am enjoying the peace and semi-quietness that is surrounding me right now.

Trinity has been on Christmas break for about 2 weeks now and I am SOOOO ready for her to go back to school. Since she's been home, her and Charity have been fighting almost non-stop (I would say about 90% of the day is them fighting and the other 10% they are playing nicely together). It's funny though, how they can fight over the SMALLEST things (oh the joys of sibling rivalry lol)!!!

Isaac, he had a few seizures a few weeks ago, gave us quite the scare. He is now on anti-seizure medication and that seems to be keeping the seizures away. We are still waiting for word on his EEG and MRI appointments, as well as a phone call from speech therapy to set up a date for him to come down and evaluate (or whatver he'll be doing) Isaac, who's vocabulary now consists of 4 "words" (mama, dada, uh oh and moo). Also, he seems to be more aggressive. He likes to scream and hit when he doesn't get what he wants and he likes to push and shove to get to what he wants, but that could all be a part of those oh so lovely "terrible twos" people talk about lol.

Well, now it is 12:15am and I have run out of things to say. So, I will end it here. God Bless and I hope everyone is having a great 2009 so far!!
