I hope you are blessed in this new year!
Jackie
Here you will read about the life of me, a Christian Wife and Mother of 3 wonderful kids. You will find trials, triumphs, scriptures about all kinds of topics, prayers for myself and others and a whole lot more.
I believe in Him and I know I am filled with the Spirit, even though I can't always feel it. I still know it is there within me and I am grateful for that.

We actually got to sleep in this morning, we slept until about 9am. We got up and fed the kids then got them ready for Sunday School. I dropped the girls off at the church and then came home to give Isaac a bath and get him ready for church. We met the girls there and sat down. I had to take Isaac into the baby room not too long into the service because he kept wanting to run around but we couldn't let that happen during church. I spent most of the service in there, towards the end I asked a friend of mine if she could watch Isaac because I was having trouble hearing in there (with the kids making noise and all). After the service, we went out for lunch at the Chinese restaurant here in town, came home and watched a video, then played some LittleBigPlanet together, then ate dinner, then spent more time together, then put the girls to bed and played some more LittleBigPlanet and then went to bed. That was pretty much our day :)
Dear Lord, Thank you again for such a wonderful day. Thank you that we can go to church and fellowship with other believers. Thank you for the message that was preached as well, thank you as well for the pastor that preached it. Thank you also that we could go out for lunch and enjoy our time together and also the time we spent as a family at home as well. I pray that as we go on with our week, we have great times and are blessed by/with so many things. I pray this in your holy name, Amen.
God Bless and have a Wonderfday day!!

Isn't it such a great poem? My husband has quite the talent for poetry :)
There was no need to use "The Message" version of this scripture, as it is pretty straight forward in the NIV version. I have to learn to do this, let God show me his ways, teach me his paths and guide me in his truth. I need to pay attention and listen to God's teaching. I need to put "my hope in him all day long". That is something that I will strive to do.

Today was a good day. We went to bed at a decent time last night (around 10pm) and woke up at around 7:30 with the kids. Gave them breakfast then Justin played a video game (like on a typical Saturday morning) and I spent some time online while the kids played. Then I had a shower and got ready to go spend the day with my friend. I met her at the mall at around 11am and we spend the day there window shopping and just hanging out. Then, I had to drop her off at her brother's house (where she was spending the night), but it didn't work out how we expected it too. We got to his house (he lives there with his wife and her 2 children) and nobody was home (we knocked on the door, rang the doorbell and nobody answered). So, we went to the neighbours house to use their phone, ended up staying there for a bit (they were VERY nice people). She tried calling her dad to get her brother's phone number. Finally, she called her boyfriend (who lives in the city) to come and pick her up. So, I waited with her until he arrived and then we went our separate ways. I went to Superstore and did some shopping, picked something up to eat there (I hadn't eaten in a while and was hungry) and came home. I put all my stuff away and here I am.
It was a wonderful day! I missed my family, but I had lots of fun with Violet, I don't see her very often so it was nice that we could get together like this. Probably won't happen again in a while though.
Dear Lord, Thank you for such a wonderful day. Thank you for Violet, that she could be a friend to me and I to her. Thank you that we both got to the city safely and could spend some time together. Thank you for keeping us safe as we were travelling to her brother's house and needed to use the neighbour's phone. I pray that Justin and the kids had a fun day here at home together and that the kids are having sweet dreams tonight. I pray that we have a great day tomorrow as well, and that the kids learn lots in Sunday School. I pray this all in your holy name, Amen.
God Bless You and Goodnight!!

The Message - "Look at it this way. If someone has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders off, doesn't he leave the ninety-nine and go after the one? And if he finds it, doesn't he make far more over it than over the ninety-nine who stay put? Your Father in heaven feels the same way. He doesn't want to lose even one of these simple believers."
I'm not sure what to say about these verses. What do you get from them? Comment and let me know.

This morning I woke up earlier than I have been. Of course, it was Charity that had to come in my room and wake me up lol. I got up, got the kids breakfast and got them ready for their day. Trinity left for school at the usual time, then I put a video on for the kids and took my time online (which ended up being WAY too much, as usual...I REALLY need to start using that timer again). We ate lunch and then spent time with daddy before he had to go to work. Him and I played some "LittleBigPlanet" together during his lunch hour (well, it was only 40 minutes). He went back to work and I played a bit more "LittleBigPlanet" and then did some cleaning so the house was nice and tidy for when Justin got home from work.
In the evening, we ate dinner and spent time with the kids until it was time for them to go to bed. Then, Justin and I spent time together playing some more "LittleBigPlanet" and then at 10pm, we went to bed.
Dear Lord, Thank you for such a wonderful day. Thank you for the time we could spend together as a family. I pray that we all have a great weekend, full of fun and happiness. I pray for safe travels tomorrow as I go to spend some time with my friend Violet, and for safe travels for her and her father as they travel as well. I pray this in your holy name, Amen.
Have a Blessed weekend!!!

I really need to learn how to "keep company with him" because the truth is, I don't really do that. I need to learn how to give it all over to Him and let him lead me through my life and help me overcome my fears, troubles, etc. ____________________________________________________
Charity came in my room this morning at about 6:45am crying and asking me if it was morning. I feel bad, I was still tired and didn't want to get up so I yelled at her and told her to get out of my room. I stayed in bed until about 7:30am and then got up and got their breakfast and everything ready. Trinity was out the door by about 8:35 and then it was time to get Charity ready for Preschool. Just as we were leaving, Justin (hubby's foster brother) walked in the door (he works nights this week and next week) so I asked if he'd mind watching Isaac (it was about -14 but felt like -21C out there this morning) while I brought Charity to Preschool. He didn't mind at all, so off we went. I came home then spent some time with Isaac, he had a bath and then watched cartoons, I took some time online and then got off to do some cleaning. DH came home for lunch, we ate and then hung out until he went back to work. I read a few books to the kids, then Isaac started acting out so I put him down for his nap, read to Charity some more and then came online.
After I'm done here, I will be getting off and getting more cleaning and laundry done. I think Justin's sister and her husband are coming over about 5ish. There's a candle lighting service at the church today (where you light a candle in memory of a deceased loved one), and they are just coming to visit before that. I am hoping somebody can babysit so I can go as well (we're thinking of asking his foster brother, but he might want to go himself). Also, at 6pm, I have to go to the daycare so the lady that cleans there (I will be cleaning for her when she's got a day off or is on vacation), so she can show me around. I will be cleaning there Nov. 24th and Dec. 16th and maybe a few days between there (she wasn't sure yet).
I have NO clue what we're doing for dinner, especially since his sister and her husband are coming over. I'm hoping Justin calls from work and lets me know what's going on, if he doesn't in 15 minutes then I'll call him. I dont want to make something and then find out we'll be ordering pizza or something.
Tomorrow is Friday and I want to do a deep clean of the house. Saturday, I am going out with my friend Violet (I hope) and we're going to have fun together (haven't seen each other since July). I can't wait, it's been so long since we've gone out together. Sunday, we are going to church and then probably hanging around at home (which is the usual for us on Sundays). So, that is our weekend (so far anyways).
Dear Lord, Thank you for such a wonderful day, even though it's cold and wintry outside. Thank you for our family and the love that we share for one another. I pray that Justin and Trinity are having a good time at work and at school and that Isaac is having sweet dreams during his nap. I pray that this evening, as we are at the Shining Light service, that we can feel your presence as we are around others who have suffered a loss like ours. I also pray that we all have a good sleep tonight full of sweet dreams. In your holy name, Amen.
Well, it's that time already, time to say farewell until tomorrow. You might not hear from me during the weekends since I'm not usually online. Have a great night and I hope your day has been Blessed beyond measure.
